Experience Dingle: owner portal, invoicing and booking integrations

Experience Dingle manages holiday homes on the Dingle Peninsula. Guests book the houses. Owners need to see who is arriving, and to be paid, without that work living in a separate inbox.

Client

  • Experience Dingle, a holiday-home management company
  • Houses across the Dingle Peninsula, looked after for their owners
  • Guests booking direct, and owners asking for a clear monthly account

The problem

The houses run from Dingle town out to Ventry, Inch and Dunquin. A stay at Central Dingle Cottage and a stay at Inch by the Sea still have to reach the right calendar, and each owner needs a monthly account of their own house.

  • Bookings arrive from the website, from the office, and from booking channels
  • Owner statements bring booking income, management fees, cleaning, laundry and property expenses into one monthly view
  • Two reservations for the same nights have to be caught before both guests travel

What we built

The public site and the tools the owners and the office use now sit on the same booking record.

  • The Experience Dingle website, with live availability rather than a static list of houses
  • Booking integrations, so a stay taken on the site is a stay the office can see
  • An owner portal with a monthly calendar of guest arrivals and departures
  • Owner invoice requests, and branded invoice statements sent to more than one recipient
  • A paid filter, so settled and unsettled owner statements can be separated
  • Double-booking overlap detection when two reservations claim the same nights

The result

Owners open a calendar of arrivals and departures for their own houses. The office prepares the monthly statement, and the calendar flags two reservations that claim the same nights.

  • A house such as Great Blasket, Dunquin has its own arrival and departure calendar
  • The monthly statement for a house can be reviewed and sent to the owner
  • Settled and unsettled statements can be separated without opening every house

If you manage houses for other people.

The useful question is what the owner has to chase you for. We can look at that on a call.
